Hosmer House "Acton Veterans Exhibit"

The 2016 Veterans Day Exhibit at the Hosmer House Museum in Acton will highlight that courageous line of defense through evolving military equipment used by Action service members in each of the major American conflicts since the Revolution was fought and the Hosmer House was built.

Acton Veteran's Day Ceremony

Veterans Day will be observed on Friday, November 11th at 11:00am on the Acton Town Common. All are encouraged to attend. Please park behind Town Hall or behind the Fire Station. The Ceremony will take place outdoors (weather permitting) by the Isaac Davis Monument on the Common. In the event of inclement weather we will move the ceremony inside town hall.  Contact James MacRae, Acton’s Veterans’ Service Officer, at 978-929-6614 or with questions.

Attention Veterans of Acton!

 I would like to invite you to join our brand new Veterans’ Newsletter which is specifically tailored to inform Acton Veterans of upcoming local events, news and benefits.  Future Newsletter topics may range from information about upcoming Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies to information about new laws or benefits regarding Veterans.  My intention, as this newsletter matures, is to not overwhelm anyone with constant emails but rather publish new and pertinent information on a bi-weekly or monthly basis.  Please Sign-up to receive future newsletters via email.  Again, I believe many of you will find this to be a helpful resource for keeping up to date on veterans’ related issues and happenings.

Legal Services for Veterans

Veterans Legal Services Team will be meeting Veterans individually to address needs such as legal advice and assistance on April 19th at the Bedford VA Hospital.  Click here for more information.

Introduction to Yoga for Veterans
