NARA Park, the North Acton Recreation Area, is located at 25 Ledge Rock Way (directions) in Acton and operated by the Town of Acton Recreation Department. The park is open year-round from sunrise to sunset and staffed seasonally from Memorial Day weekend through late August.

Frequently Asked Questions about NARA Park

NARA Beach is open to both Acton residents and non-residents from Memorial Day weekend through late August. Beach-goers can drop in for a daily-use fee or purchase a beach membership pass. A lifeguard is on duty during hours of operation.

Hours of Operation:
May 26-June 15, 2012:

• Weekdays: 10 am - 6 pm
• Weekends:  9 am - 6 pm

June 18-August 26, 2012:

• Daily 9am-7pm

Daily Rates (Acton/Non-Acton Resident):

• Single (ages 2+):    $5/$7
• Family (up to 6):     $20/$25
• Seniors (ages 65+): $3/$3

Paddleboat and Canoe Rental:  $5 per boat for 30 minutes

Beach Membership Registration Form

All beach membership registration forms must be mailed or turned-in to the Recreation Department located on the ground floor of Town Hall. Online registration for beach membership is unavailable.
