The Town Meeting Improvements Committee (TMIC) is an advisory committee appointed by the Board of Selectmen, consisting of nine members and two associate members. The Committee’s tasks are two-fold and are intended to increase Town Meeting attendance. The first is to propose improvements to the Town Meeting format, which may be adopted and put in place for Annual Town Meeting 2020. The second is to identify issues for possible long term study such as remote voting and making information on warrant articles better available to citizens. The Committee will submit its report to the Board of Selectmen in February 2020, and sunset at the conclusion of the April 2020 Annual Town Meeting.
