CAP Blueprint is Here!
Together with the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC), the Sustainability Office presented the report to the Select Board on December 20th. The Blueprint contains a list of strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in our buildings, energy, transportation and through nature-based solutions.

The Blueprint is available here in the following forms:

What happens next?
This Blueprint is a living document that we will continue to build on during Phase II of the Climate Action Plan process, which will take place in the winter and spring of 2022—the Town received funding from the Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) program to hire experts to conduct technical analysis on the strategies to prioritize actions based on potential GHG reductions, costs, and benefits of each strategy. Community engagement will continue to play a key role during this phase and will eventually lead to a CAP that will guide the Town on a path to its net zero by 2030 goal.
