The National Weather Service (NWS) in conjunction with the Agency Meteorologist is forecasting a high impact, multi-faceted weather event for Massachusetts today from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM. There are several hazards forecasted that include the possibility for tornadoes, straight line wind damage, strong to severe thunderstorms, and  flooding rains. Those with outdoor plans today should heed extra caution, as conditions may change quickly.
