The Town of Acton, Massachusetts, Office of the Town Manager, will receive sealed bids for the interior renovation/expansion of the Police Department Women’s Locker Room at the Public Safety Facility located at 371 Main Street, Acton, MA.

Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with the provisions of M.G.L Chapter 149, Section 26, 27, 29, 3 5 and 44A-44M, as amended and M.G.L. Chapter 30, Sections 39A, 39B and 39F-R, as amended

A pre-bid walk through will be held at 10:00 AM on August 6, 2025 in Acton Public Safety Facility the entrance lobby located at 371 Main Street, Acton, MA.

Electronic bids for General Construction will be received until 2:00 PM EST on Thursday, August 28, 2025.

Electronic Filed Sub-bids for the trades will be received until 2:00 PM EST on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.

All bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit. Bid Security shall be at least five percent (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount, considering all alternates. The Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond shall be:

1. with a surety company qualified to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and satisfactory to Owner;
2. conditional upon the faithful performance by the principal of the agreements contained in the Bid.
3. a completed Cash Bid Bond Affidvit form submitted with your E-Bid online at www.Projectdog.com.

DCAMM Certification is required for General Contractor and Filed Sub-bidders. The minimum wages to be paid for all labor on the project are established in a schedule issued by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries, in accordance with Section 26A - 27D inclusive, of Chapter 149 of the M.G.L., as amended, said schedule being made a part of the Contract Documents and is included therein.

Failure of the General Bidder and Filed Sub-bidders to submit this above information will be cause for the rejection of the bid.

The bidder agrees that its bid shall be good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 30 days, Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded, after the opening of the bids.

The Town of Acton reserves the right to waive any informalities, to accept or reject, in whole or in part any or all bids, or take whatever other action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Acton.
