Recreation

Overview

The Recreation Department manages and oversees many programs, concerts and special events, and all field and facility permits.  For assistance, please e-mail recreation@actonma.gov or call 978.929.6640 (press ext. 0). Registration forms or payments may be dropped off at the 24/7 drop-box located at the Recreation Center, 50 Audubon Drive.

All parks are open from dawn to dusk. Please do not use recreation properties after dark without an approved permit.

All Information can be found by visiting actonrec.com as well as easy on-line registration.  Mail and walk-in registration is accepted if you do not wish to register online.

FIELDS AND FACILITIES RENTALS 

Town fields are CLOSED for the season.  To reserve/inquire about use of fields or facilities, please complete the Field and Facilities application.   Click here to view a video about rental inquiry.

HOW TO RESERVE A FIELD OR FACILITY:

Step 1:  Please complete the Field and Facilities Application first and email, fax or drop off your request.  Click here to obtain the application.  There is no fee to process your inquiry.  Please allow up to three business days for a reply  to your inquiry.  Replies are made via email so please watch your spam folder if you don't hear back.  Availability of facilities fluctuate daily and applications received are processed on a first-come basis.  

Step 2:  Once your application has been submitted, you will be contacted by Recreation about availability of your date, fee for rental, and any special directions/needs for your rental - for example, one-day liquor permit and opportunities for other dates or areas if your request cannot be accommodated.  Email your application to recreation@actonma.gov, mail or drop-off at our office 24/7 drop box located at 50 Audubon Drive in Acton (Front entry).

PLAYGROUNDS 

All playgrounds are open.  Use at your own risk.
