The Town of Acton is considering improvements to the 19-21 Maple Street property and has engaged a consulting team to support this effort. The Town is seeking public input as part of the project. This forum will be an opportunity to review existing conditions on the site and offer comments on potential improvements.

Background

The 19-21 Maple Street property is located next to the South Acton Commuter Rail MBTA Station and features 40 reserved parking spaces, multiple bicycle racks, and two buildings. Preliminary ideas for site improvements include:

• Parking expansion
• Improved pickup and drop-off
• Additional bicycle parking
• A new access point to the station
• Re-use of existing buildings
• Removal of one or both buildings
• Realignment of the Stow Street intersection with a new and improved lot entrance
