Community members are invited to attend our Veterans Day Ceremony on Monday, November 11th at 11AM.
The Town of Acton's Veteran Services Department and the Celebrations and Ceremonies Committee will hold the annual Veterans Day Ceremony to honor those who have fought for the nation.
The event will be held on Acton Town Common, by the Isaac Davis monument, weather permitting. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the Faulkner room inside Town Hall, 472 Main St.
Parking is available behind Town Hall or the Fire Station, 256 Central St.
The event will begin with a moment of silence and an invocation.
Remarks will be delivered by Sen. Jamie Eldridge before the laying of the wreaths. Retired Colonel Robert Beaudoin will also give a speech.
Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend.
Isaac Davis Monument Restoration: The ceremony will take place by the newly renovated Isaac Davis monument. Renovation efforts to restore the monuments on the common were officially completed during the week of Nov. 4. The project was primarily funded through the Community Preservation Act (CPA) as well as funding from the Veteran's Heritage Site Foundation.

Town Offices Closed: Town Offices and the Memorial Library will be closed on Monday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day. Emergency Services will continue to operate as usual.
