Cross-Acton Transit (CAT) operates Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., and is free for all passengers. The bus stops at residential and business centers along major corridors, including the South Acton MBTA station, K-Mart Plaza (near AB Schools), Acton Plaza, Nagog Woods, Avalon Drive and Great Road Condos. The route terminates at Town Hall and the Memorial Library.
Additionally, CAT has added Trader Joe’s plaza as a new stop on its route.

Town leaders will closely monitor ridership of the new route and make adjustments as needed. Anyone with feedback may provide it by clicking here.
In addition to regularly scheduled CAT service, the Town of Acton offers its Crosstown Connect service that provides a transit option for those traveling to Market Basket in Littleton and the Acton Food Pantry. Rides to Market Basket are available on the first and third Thursday of each month, while Food Pantry service is offered on Wednesdays, with the exception of the fourth Wednesday of each month when the Pantry is closed.
Rides to Market Basket and the Food Pantry cost $1 per rider.
Capacity is limited for these trips, so riders are asked to reserve their seat ahead of time by calling 978-844-6809any time between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
